The pictures below were taken in Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Heho, all within a span of 8 days jet setting from one place to another. Each place present us a total new experience.
Image of a buddhist country (Myanmar) - We set foot after a shower and I managed to make good use of it. it was about 7.30 pm and the light changed in a matter of minutes under the pool of reflection showing the lit gilded spire. A monk appeared from behind with inquisitiveness. I quickly orchestrated him to walk beside the puddle and lo and behold he willingly obliged, giving me just enough time to get the shot I visualised. I knew at that moment I had caught an image that would be symbolic of my journey to Myanmar. One of my favourites for this trip !

A country of many temples - Presently about 2,300 temples left, down from 13,000+ temples at the peak before being destroyed. These photomontages are intended to convey my abstract expressions of the many brightly lit temples in the night located within busy roads.
