These kites are remote controlled and has tiny LED lights attached and fly like a plane. It is seldom seen in other parts of the world and is truly a Singaporean invention. It can hover, roll, loop, inverted fly, axle roll and stall turn. Every night without fail, it attracts flocks of curious local visitors and tourists admiring the large “fire flies”. The light paths are so varied that you can never have enough in attempting to capture the best streaks. Kinda wanted to go back there again and again.
The 2nd series of pictures consist streaks of cable car lights. Camera was set on tripod, and with the aid of black card blocking the lens arbitrary during long exposure, hence capturing unimaginable endless trail of light patterns that can resemble some sort of flying objects.
Anyway, I believed this LED kites is closed to obsolete, replaced by the more versatile drone.
