Covid 19
I specially dedicate a gallery to Covid 19 that don’t need further explanation.
This pandemic has disrupted life around the world. I was enthralled by the emptiness. These series of images were captured during phase 1. We called it “Circuit Breaker.” Social distancing and wearing of masks became compulsory. The familiar streets were deserted. It was a poignant moment devoid of human traffic with most people holing up at home. One thing that stood at the beginning of the circuit breaker was how many otherwise-normal facets of Singapore life had started to look very dystopian. It serves as good memory for this once a life time moment hopefully that will never repeat again.
The partial lockdown lasted 56 days. All photos were captured by handphone.
