STATEMENT OF INTENT
The picture showcase 2 types of leaves. Top row consist of leaves in it’s young and flourishing stage, bottom row had them in various stages of decaying.
My intent is to enhance the beauty of the leaves by illustrating them in an array of patterns accentuating it’s lines and texture. Leaves can be expressed, besides being naturally green, in a variety of assorted colours and instilling an aura of vibrancy even in it’s midst of withering.
The artful combinations of these forms evoke a myriad of abstract interpretations.
